I found a cord, wahoo! I'm still in UT on "vacation" but I was able to find a cord to another camera that worked with mine. So here are a few things:

Lovely Bridal card for my sister, Jenny :) You would have died seeing what she GOT at her shower!

I hauled butt over to DI and grabbed some awesome vases and plates to make these beautiful cake stands for the food table for the reception.

I made Jenny's signing pages. I used pretty Black, light green and cream with some black swirly stamps. They turned out pretty cute!

vacation

I promise i'm still alive and I have been busy. I just don't have that handy cord that plugs into your camera and computer to download your pictures...but I promise when I get home from vacation, i'll get them! But I was able to make some sign-in pages for my sister's wedding, a card and some cake stands! I bet you're dying to see pictures huh? ya, me too.

Ode to my Laptop

So my biggest fear became a reality yesterday morning.  My laptop computer has finally bit the dust.  I knew it was coming but I just didn't know when and I was hoping it would have been further down the road but what are you going to do?

Here's my Eulogy:

My cheap laptop, oh how i'll miss,

You got me through college and all that wedding bliss. 

You lived a great life, full of papers and surfing,

blogging and postings and edits and indulging.

You lived a long life, 5 whole long years!

It was a great journey but you've got old gears!

So long my old friend, good luck to what's to come,

I'll be patiently waiting till December (boo hoo!) for a new one...

Argh..that's right.  It's a sad truth to be told.  We can't afford buying anything right now with what's coming up with Joe's applications and interviews in the coming months...so with that said..

My blogging entries will probably decrease quite a bit.  My only access to a computer is when Joe gets home and when's he's done using it..which isn't that much.  But I hope to get a few out that I have pics for soon...soon, my pet, soon....

Exciting Mentionables...

It's been crazy these past few weeks.  Being apart of a few giveaways has given me some more business over at my shop, which is always good :)

Also, I am proud to say that I am the Vendor of the Month for my Twilightations over atTwilightMoms!  I am completely honored.  It's been really fun and seems the there has been more response to my Twilightations blog, which is great!
